The Walking Cowboy

 

Pawprint presents "The Walking Cowboy". An exciting fifty minute show  that will not only captivate, but also educate children about road safety, sustainable travel, plus the environmental impact that transport has on our planet and its resources.

 

Your children will follow The Walking Cowboy, the only cowboy without a horse, as he attempts to stop The Lazy Ranger from teaching bad road safety. Along the way he meets Daisy, an impressionable young girl who knows very little about sustainable travel or its benefits. With the help of Milly The Kid and Auntie May, The Walking Cowboy will take your children on an exciting adventure while educating them on a very important and serious topic. The show is packed with information, audience participation, original songs and quizzes! The show covers various topics, including;

Road safety.

Sustainable travel.

The environmental impact that travel has on our environment.

School travel plans. 

The Benefits of walking and riding a bike.

Reducing congestion outside schools.

Any current initiatives in use, eg: Park & Stride, The Walking Bus, etc

‘The Walking Cowboy’ aims to inspire children’s minds and imagination as well as generate interest and involvement. The show covers areas of the National Curriculum, makes a significant contribution to Citizenship, PSHE and The Every Child Matters Agenda. 

Pawprint is completely self contained; including scenery that can be adapted to any size venue, full sound system and costumes, so sit back and enjoy an involving educational experience.
