Pawprint Theatrical Productions presents "The Kenzie Project". This brand new secondary school production is targeted at year 8 students and aims to educate them about the importance of looking after and having respect for their environment.
The play follows Kenzie, a young lad who has little respect for his environment or the people around him. He has an attitude, he's argumentative and he's lazy. He drops litter and refuses to recycle or clean up after himself. His two sisters Lucy and Sharn have had enough of their younger brother's behaviour and decided it's time he made a change, so they devise "The Kenzie Project".
The production deals with various topics, including
- The impact people have on their environment
- Anti-social behaviour with regards to the environment
- The three R's : recycle, reduce and reuse
- The damage litter can cause to our environment
- The dangers of an unclean environment
- Sustainability
"The Kenzie Project" will cover areas of the National Curriculum, Key Stage 3 and make a significant contribution to Citizenship, PSHE and Every Child Matters agenda.
